Half the fun of this owning this old catalog is in looking at the prices. It's fun to notice that while today you can call any answering service Dallas to New York and receive instant service, to order this catalog you had to send in a post card and wait for the book to return.
The CD has 459 selected pages from the original 1906 catalog. Everything from women's apparel to toys, to telephones, to phonographs and "motion picture machines." You will chuckle at the $1.85 gold filled spectacles and $1.58 school desks or how about a "magnificent solid oak" bedroom suite for $19.85. Shopping was a lot more fun in 1906. You'll have hours of enjoyment scrolling through the pages looking for yesterday's bargains and better yet, researching the original prices on your treasured antiques.

Pages were scanned as high resolution bit map files and then imported into Adobe Acrobat for viewing or printing from Windows or Macintosh systems. All pages were scanned at high resolution to make the small print readable, necessitating selection of only the best pages to be included on the CD.
